The 10-11 Plant City Baseball All-Stars advanced to the finals of the 2012 Tournament of State Champions in Greenville, N.C. Tuesday with a 8-6 win over Virginia.
The Florida All-Stars advanced to the semifinals with a 9-1 win over the same Virginia team July 30. The win Tuesday eliminated the Virginia state champions, who advanced to the semifinals out of the loser’s bracket, topping North Carolina 7-4.
