The raffle raised over $3,000 for area charities.
According to St. Clement Catholic Church, the 2016 Holy Cow Raffle went very well.
The raffle, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, was held in January, but the money has now been totaled and the grand prize picked up. Organizer Andrew Bryant says that the raffle raised $3,135 – an all-time high – to be distributed among area charities and support programs.
This year's winner was Donna Burrage, who recently claimed her prize at Rick's Custom Meats in Lithia. The "Holy Cow" was paid for by an anonymous donor.
