Laurice is a senior at Plant City High School, where he is a forward for the Raiders varsity basketball team.
How long have you been playing basketball?
I’ve been playing basketball since elementary school and started organized ball my 9th grade year.
What is your favorite thing about basketball?
My favorite thing about basketball is going against different players.
What’s your favorite thing about playing for PCHS?
My favorite thing about playing for PCHS is the people I play with and the positivity.
Do you have a favorite career play or memory of basketball?
My favorite career play is when I got my first in-game dunk.
What’s the hardest thing about basketball?
The hardest thing about basketball to me is staying consistent.
Do you have a favorite NBA player? If so, who and why?
My favorite basketball player is Russell Westbrook because the energy he plays with and how aggressive and explosive he is.
What’s one area of your game that you want to improve on?
One area in my game I want to improve on is my shooting.
When you’re not hooping, what are you doing in your free time?
I usually play games, watch TV, and play basketball outside.
Has basketball taught you any life lessons?
Basketball taught me that hard work can beat talent.
