How long have you been cheerleading?

I’ve been cheerleading for

10 years.

What’s your favorite thing about Cheerleading on game days for football?

My favorite thing is dancing with the band or doing ‘hey burrito’ with the student section.

What’s your favorite thing about Cheerleading on competition days?

The hype circle that we have backstage where we listen to music and dance.

How long does it take you to memorize

choreography effectively?

It normally only takes me the day we get our routine to learn the choreography however this year’s routine is fast paced and has many skills.

What’s your favorite thing about your coaches at PCHS?

My favorite thing is that I can have a connection with them beyond just cheerleading and know that I can call them whenever I need something.

What’s your favorite thing about your team at PCHS?

My favorite thing about the team is the bond we all share with one another.

Do you have a favorite moment since beginning cheerleading for the Raiders?

My favorite moment was prob winning states in 2022 because I had never accomplished that before. It was a feeling I had never felt and won’t ever forget.

Do you have plans to cheer in college? If so, where would you want to cheer and why?

There’s only two places I would cheer at if I cheered in college, and they are FAU or the University of Alabama. They both have great cheerleading programs, and I feel I would be successful there.

If you could give advice to a young girl

wanting to get into cheer, what advice would you give them?

I would tell them a smile and good body language can make a great impression on anybody watching them cheer. Most people think that talent gets you further when it comes to cheering, however most audiences love to watch a cheerleader who looks like the happiest girl in the world out there doing her thing.

What are your top songs to get you hyped and ready for a cheer comp?

My top songs are Moment for Life by Nicki Minaj, Like a G6 by Far East Movement, and Run This Town by Jay-Z.
