Korbin Dunkin is an 11-year-old, 6th grader at  Seffner Christian. He plays baseball for the Knuckleheads 11U team and plays football for Seffner Christian where it’s 6th-8th grade on the team.

What’s your favorite thing about playing football?

Hitting people in tackle and scoring a touchdown in flag.

What’s your favorite thing about playing baseball?

The excitement of a good hit.

What’s the hardest thing about either sport?

In baseball, the hardest thing is getting a hit. Playing DB in football.

Is there a sport you haven’t tried yet that you want to play?

If I had to pick one sport to try, that I haven’t already played it would have to be Lacrosse.

If you’re not playing sports, what are you doing in your free time?

Hunting, fishing, and videogames.

Is there a rule in football or baseball that you would change? If so, why?

In baseball, I would say no bunting because I would rather swing the bat. In football, I would say no field goals or punts just go for it, and don’t be a sissy.

If you could make your own team jerseys, what colors would they be?

Baby blue and pink

Who’s your favorite of all time and why?

Brian Dawkins because he hit people hard.

If you could go pro in either football or baseball, what would you choose and why?

Football because I like it more.

Would you rather get a game-winning touchdown catch or a game-winning home run?
