Maddox Eisenbach

Maddox Eisenbach, 10, attends Walden Lake Elementary and is a part of the Plant City Warriors baseball team. He and his team just got back from Savannah, GA where they placed third in the World Series for their age group.

What position do you play in baseball?

I play first base, shortstop, outfield, and pitcher.

Do you have a favorite all-time sports 

memory?

One time I pitched a CG which means a complete game. It was a shut-out with a final score of 10-0.

Is there a sport you haven’t played that you eventually want to play and why?

Football because I think it would really be fun.

If you’re not playing sports, what are you 

doing in your free time?

In my free time I play with my friends and I play video games.

What’s the hardest thing about playing baseball?

The hardest thing about baseball is pitching.

How important is it to be a supportive 

teammate to your squad?

I support my teammates when they are feeling sad. My team is like a family.

Do you have a favorite player currently in the MLB? If so, who?

My favorite player is the Dodgers Shohei Ohtani because he can pitch and hit really well.

If you could make your own team, what would the name be and what color would the jerseys be?

My team would be the Warriors and our colors would be blue and gray.

Do you prefer playing baseball games in the morning, afternoon, or evening and why?

I prefer playing in the afternoon because I can sleep later and it isn’t dark yet.

What are your go-to songs to get you hyped and ready for game day?

We sing “We Ready” to get hyped for the game.
