Sweetbay Supermarket will close about one-third of its Florida locations by mid-February, the company announced today.
The 33 closures include Sweetbay’s Plant City location at 507 S. Wheeler St. It is unclear how many employees will lose their jobs at Sweetbay’s Plant City Distribution Center.
Sweetbay currently operates 105 stores in Florida. These closings will drop that to 72.
