A 56-year-old man was arrested Monday, Nov. 16, on allegations that he was in possession of child pornography, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Michael Lawrence Rodgers was arrested on 20 counts of possession of child pornography, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of resisting an officer without violence.
According to the FDLE, a computer at Rodger’s home at 8106 Elk View Way was sharing images of child pornography on the Internet. A search warrant was served on the home Monday, authorities said, and several pieces of digital evidence were seized.
FDLE was assisted by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. Rodgers was booked into the Hillsborough County jail on Monday, Nov. 16, but his bail was unknown.
