On Saturday, Aug. 1, Family Festival was held at American Legion. The festival featured food, vendors and animals that were ready for adoption. A number of animal rescue groups were present, including The Greyhound Gang of Florida and Tampa Bay Bulldog Club Rescue. The event benefitted Caribbean Spay Neuter projects. PHOTO GALLERY: The 13th Annual Tampa Elvis Festival
On Saturday, Aug. 1, the 13th Annual Tampa Elvis Festival and Contest was held in the Expo Hall at the Florida Strawberry Festival Fairgrounds. Elvis tribute artists performed in a contest, complete with a performance by award-winning tribute artist Ted Torres. Attendees also enjoyed food, a silent auction and vendors selling Elvis memorabilia.
