On Monday, July 6, Plant City kids enjoyed a production of Wind in the Willows at Bruton Memorial Library. The show was put on by the Atlantic Coast Theatre, a troupe that travels around the nation performing shows for youth. Mr. Toad was portrayed by Don Gruel. Rain didn’t stop Plant City residents from enjoying fireworks and festivities at Plant City stadium. Although the fun was slightly delayed due to the weather, patriotic participants enjoyed food, live music, bounce houses, games and fireworks at the annual July 4 celebration.
