The high school football season kicked off Friday night as area teams took to the fields to take part in preseason games. Plant City High hosted Hillsborough Friday, coming up short 15-7. The Raiders fell behind 15-0, before Landon Galloway gave them their only score of the game on a 2-yard run up the middle.
