The City of Plant City has a new chief financial officer. Diane Reichard began her employment with the City of Plant City August 1.
Reichard comes to Plant City with 29 years of local government finance experience. Most recently she was the City of Ocala’s chief financial officer/assistant city manager.
Some of her other local government experience includes having served seven years with the City of Temple Terrace as finance director; and 19 years with the City of Leesburg as deputy finance director and budget manager.
She has also served on the Central Florida Government Finance Officers Association, including a term as President in 2003-04; the Government Finance Officers Association; and the Florida Government Finance Officers Association, including a term as President in 2013-2014.
Diane graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in business administration from St. Leo College and also earned a master’s of accountancy from the University of South Florida. She is a certified public accountant, certified government finance officer, certified public finance officer and certified global management accountant.
