Otis M. Andrews Sports complex will host the 16th annual Optimist Tri-Star Soccer Skills Competition Saturday.
The free event is for ages 6-14 and no pre-registration is needed. Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions in various soccer skills, including dribbling, passing and shooting.
The event, co-sponsored by the City of Plant City Recreation and Park Department and the Optimist Club of Plant City, begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m.
The combined score determines awards and winners. Awards will be given for the top three participants in each age group: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14. Awards will be given out at approximately 11:30 a.m.
