Tickets for the annual Dancing with the Locals charity event are on sale. The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at The HCC Plant City John R. Trinkle Center, 1206 N. Park Road.
Tickets are $100 each and include open bar, hors d’oeuvres and dessert at intermission. Sponsorship packets are also available for $300, $600 and $750.

Turkey Creek Assembly of God will sponsor an All Churches Prayer Hour from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Train Depot.
The event will focus on praying for the city of Plant City and its leaders.

The 11th annual Pig Jam will take place Nov. 23, at 1500 S. Park Road from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature barbecue competitions, raffles, live entertainment and more.

+ Warriors at Heart
Warriors at Heart are still looking to raise money for wreaths to put on military grave sites at Bushnell for Wreaths Across America. The organization is looking for more volunteers too.
All money has to be turned in by Dec. 2. Their goal is 200 wreaths; so far, only two have been sold. The wreaths are sent directly to the cemetery, and donors do not have to be present.

+ East Hillsborough Art Guild
The East Hillsborough Art Guild will present its annual Art Show from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Walden Lake Country Club, 2001 Clubhouse Drive.
This show will take place in conjunction with a buffet dinner by Walden Lake Country Club.
Wine, cheese and crackers will be served. There will be donated art and gift baskets given away as door prizes.

+ K9 Kids Camp
K9 Kids Camp is partnering with several Plant City organizations and businesses to host its Presidents 4 Pets campaign, in honor of National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week.
The camp, along with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, Animal Wellness Center of Plant City, Turkey Creek Animal Hospital and Linda’s Pet Stop Grooming, will host a collection drive to benefit pets in shelters and provide items needed to help keep shelters operational, and animals comfortable and safe.
Individuals who wish to make a donation can drop off items at either the Animal Wellness Center, 3109 S.R. 574 W., or Turkey Creek Animal Hospital, 4645 U.S. 92. K9 Kids Camp Pet Sitters also will pick up donations through Nov. 15.
