Construction on new Burger King begins

The construction on a new Burger King off Thonotosassa Road has begun, according to Quality Dining Inc., the operator of 56 Tampa Bay-area Burger King restaurants. Construction is scheduled to be finished in August.

The restaurant will  will offer an “Internet Cafe” with free Wi-Fi for guests. It will have a Coca Cola Freestyle machine, with over 100 drink options. It will also have a double lane for drive-thru guests to provide faster service, especially during peak traffic hours.

“Plant City is a wonderful and vibrant community which we have been pleased to be a part of,” Daniel B. Fitzpatrick, CEO of Quality Dining, said. “My team and I are extremely excited and anxious for the opening of the new restaurant. This project is a reflection of the confidence we have in the Plant City Community and the surrounding area.”
