Officers responded to the above location and met with staff who stated a subject was in the location and had been previously trespassed. An officer asked the subject to step outside during which time the subject became belligerent and pulled away. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Scoot Your Way – Stolen Vehicle
2400 block of Thonotosassa Rd
Officers responded to the listed location and met with employees who stated a scooter with paint covering the tag had been there for approximately two days. It was determined the scooter was a rental from a business in St. Pete and had not been returned. The owner was contacted and they took possession of the scooter.

An officer was conducting active patrol of the area around the above location and observed a subject with an active trespass warning. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

230 block of W Alexander St
An officer met with employees at the above location who reported theft of approximately $130 of merchandise.

Officers responded to the residence and met with the complainant who stated an unknown subject or vehicle had damaged her vehicle’s mirror during the overnight hours.

1700 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer met with the clerk who reported approximately $28 worth of food items were stolen.

Lock em up – Vehicle Burglary
1400 block of Plantation Circle
An officer responded to the listed location and met with the victims who advised the previous night, unknown suspects entered two unlocked vehicles and shattered the front passenger side window. A handgun was stolen.

Shut Yo Mouth – Felony Petit Theft
1200 block of W Grant St
An officer responded to the area in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, an officer met with the subject who admitted to committing a theft last week while at a store. A criminal history check revealed multiple prior guilty convictions for theft. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Another One? – DWLSR
N Collins St/W Mahoney St
An officer conducted a traffic stop due to an equipment violation. Contact was made with the driver who, it was learned, had a suspended driver’s license with two prior convictions. The driver was placed under arrest for DWLSR and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Popeye Will Get You – DWLSR/DUI
An officer conducted a traffic stop for an inoperable headlight. The driver was arrested for DUI and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Brain on Drugs – Drug Investigation

An officer conducted a traffic stop due to the vehicle traveling the wrong direction on a one-way roadway. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Fragrant Boost – Shoplifting/Grand Theft
200 block of W. Alexander St
An officer met with employees who reported a theft of multiple candles, fragrance refills, and laundry boosters worth a total loss of $1,587.90.
I Want to Ride My Bicycle – Theft/Felon in Poss. Firearm/Armed Trafficking Methamphetamine
500 Whitehall St
Officers were investigating a bicycle theft in which a subject had been seen removing a yellow bicycle from the victim’s rear porch area. Upon checking the area, an officer located a bicycle and suspect matching the description provided by the victim. The subject was arrested for petit theft, armed trafficking methamphetamine, and felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
