Officers responded to the above location in reference to a disturbance in which a female was heard screaming. Upon arrival, no one was in need of assistance, however, an officer observed a subject on the property that had an active trespass warning from the location. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Pop a Squat – Burglary Residence
2200 block of Saffron Walden Dr
An officer met with the victim who advised securing the rental residence upon moving out on March 9. The victim returned to check one last time on March 14 for any property and discovered the rear door open and the keys to the house, mailbox, and community pool access key were missing from inside.
No Bonus? – Petit Theft
2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer responded to the above location and met with Loss Prevention, who advised that on four separate occasions, an employee had failed to pay for several items and walked past all points of sale without rendering payment for the items for a total of $72.86. The employee was found to have no prior criminal history and was APAD eligible.

An officer conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation and met with the driver who was found to not have a driver’s license and has never had one issued. The driver was transported to Orient Road Jail.

Fake It Until You Get Caught – Warrant/False Name

An officer made contact with a subject on March 15 while attempting to serve an arrest warrant. The subject was placed under arrest and charged with the original warrant and false name to LEO. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.

An officer was conducting active patrol of the location and trespassed an unrelated subject. While doing so, the officer observed a subject on site who was known to have an active trespass warning. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.

AN officer was actively conducting traffic enforcement and stopped a vehicle whose driver showed an active warrant for traffic offenses. The driver was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Double Trouble – Possession of Controlled Substances
1400 block of Thonotosassa Rd
Officers were conducting active patrol and observed two subjects lounging in the parking lot of a closed business. After an investigation, both were placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Shattering Occurrence – Criminal Mischief

Officers met with the complainant who advised unknown subjects threw a piece of concrete cinder block through one of the windows.

Dental Hygiene is important – Mail Theft
800 block of Russell Dr
Officers responded to the above location and met with the complainant. The complainant stated someone had stolen the toothpaste ordered from TikTok from the mailbox. A short time later, a call came in advising the possible subject was seen eastbound on E Alexander St near James L Redman Pkwy. The subject was placed under arrest for theft and transported to Orient Road Jail.

An officer met with employees who reported the theft of 45 scented candles valued at $1,212.75.

Can You Hear Me Now? – Theft Report/Waiver
800 block of S Empire St
Officers responded to the area in which a cell phone was being tracked by its owner. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant, who left a phone on the conveyor belt of a business. When the complainant realized the phone was missing, she began tracking it using an app. The location was determined, and officers made contact with a subject at the location. The subject advised he found the phone and took it home. He provided officers with the phone which was returned to the owner. The complainant did not wish to pursue charges and signed a waiver of prosecution.
