HOOK, LINE & SINKER
1800 block of North Gordon Street. Burglary to a vessel. Two black fishing poles worth $375 and a duffel bag with fishing tackle worth $300 was taken from the complainant’s boat, which was on his property.

2400 block of James L. Redman Parkway. Petit theft. Officers responded to this store in reference to a theft of a donation jar.
YOU’VE GOT MAIL
200 block of Sugar Creek Drive. Criminal mischief. The complainant’s mailbox was knocked down by an unknown suspect(s).
FAST CASH
1700 block of North Johnson Street. Vehicle burglary. Overnight, an unknown person(s) entered an unlocked 1996 Jeep and stole the victim’s wallet containing $15.
April 15
METAL-PLATED THIEF
1800 block of West House Street. Stolen license plate. Officers responded to the residence after the theft of a license plate.
CAR TROUBLES
4500 block of S.R. 574. Criminal mischief. Officers responded to a mobile home park in reference to a car being vandalized.
HOT WIRED
1100 block of West Risk Street. Auto theft. Officers responded to the apartment complex in reference to a stolen vehicle.
SNAIL MAIL
Police Place. Fraud. Officers met with the complainant in reference to mail fraud.
TAGGED
North Alexander Street/West Baker Street. Seize tag order. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a 1987 Nissan. During the traffic stop it was discovered that the tag had a seize tag order. Officer seized the tag and issued several citations.
TRAFFIC SCAM
100 block of West Strickland Street. Vehicle burglary. An officer met with the complainant in reference to a vehicle burglary.
RED LIGHT
1200 block of Spotted Lilac Lane. Vehicle burglary. An officer met with the victim in reference to a vehicle burglary.
APRIL 16
BYE-CYCLE
1200 block of West Reynolds Street. Theft. The complainant went to the department in reference to a theft of bicycles.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
4600 block of Country Hills Court. Grand theft. The complainant said jewelry was stolen.
HANDBAG HEIST
1300 block of East Warren Street. Vehicle burglary. The complainant said her purse was taken from an unsecured vehicle.
April 17
HARD HEADED
900 block of South Gordon Street. Simple battery with a signed waiver of prosecution. Officers were on patrol in the area when they were flagged down. It was determined that the complainant was in the front yard of this home when an unknown hispanic male started punching him and ran off. The complainant was treated at the scene for a laceration to his head. He became uncooperative and refused to help with the investigation. He signed a waiver of prosecution.
