JUNE 1
ALL THE ESSENTIALS
100 block of North Gordon Street. Business burglary. Officers responded to report of a burglary. The complainant reported that cigarettes, beer, make-up and other items were stolen from the store. The amounts stolen for each item were not disclosed.
PUT A RING ON IT
1200 block of West Madison Street. Grand theft. Officers responded to report of a stolen ring.The complainant signed a waiver of prosecution.
JUNE 3
BLING BLING
600 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue. Burglary. Officers responded to a home burglary report. Complainant reported that $250 in cash was stolen, along with a set of earrings valued at $2,000.
JUNE 4
TOOL TIME
2700 block of Ashton Avenue. Vehicle burglary. Complainant reported that an unknown person or persons burglarized a 2011 Ford F-150 overnight, breaking into the vehicle’s tool box and taking a Kobalt-brand bag full of tools, valued at $200.
RUN THE JEWELS
500 block of West Reynolds Street. Grand theft. Complainant reported that $200,000-$300,000 worth of women’s jewelry was stolen from a home.

RAISE THE ROOF
500 block of East Gilchrist Street. Theft. Officers responded to report of stolen construction equipment. Complainant told officers that $11,000 worth of equipment had been taken overnight.
FEELING CRABBY
100 block of South Howard Street. Battery. Officers responded to report of battery in an apartment complex. Complainant told officers that she was hit in the face by her neighbor, following an argument over a crab trap, and declined to press charges. Complainant also signed a waiver of prosecution. The officers made contact with the neighbor, who stated that the scrum was a mistake.
YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?
Wilder Trace Road. Accidental shooting. Complainant alleged that, while hanging out with a man he only knew by nickname, the gun tucked in the man’s waistband went off. The shot hit the unnamed man in the leg, and the bullet then ricocheted into the complainant’s leg. However, the officer noted that the complainant had changed his story and became evasive.

GOING SOMEWHERE?
400 block of Sugar Creek Drive. Vehicle burglary. Complainant reported that two Garmin GPS devices and a flashlight were stolen from their vehicle.
JUNE 9
MOBILE GAMING GONE WRONG
4700 block of North Dawn Meadow Court. Vehicle burglary. Complainant reported that a Sony PlayStation 3 gaming console, two controllers, one video game and two 12-inch Kicker speakers were stolen. The goods were valued together at $500.
INSULT TO INJURY
300 block of North Alexander Street. Theft. Complainant reported that his wallet was stolen while he was at the hospital.
