An officer located the subject after a homeowner reported her attempting to steal a package off the porch. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Error – Burglary Vehicle
2600 block of E. Cherry St
An officer met with the victim who stated that while parked at the above location his vehicle was forcefully entered and his wallet taken from the center console.
July 27
Lock ‘em up – Vehicle Burglary
2300 block of Maki Rd
An officer met with the complainant who reported sometime between 6:00 a.m. on July 26 and the morning of July 27 an unknown suspect removed a silver Smith and Wesson .40 caliber handgun from the unlocked vehicle.
No One Will Notice – Structure Burglary
1000 block of S. Alexander St
Officers responded to the above location in reference to a delayed burglary of a storage unit and met with the complainant who stated his storage unit was entered through the roof from the neighboring storage unit.
Hail to the Chief – Theft
200 block of W. Tever St
An officer responded to the above location in reference to a delayed theft complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who advised on July 26 an unknown subject entered her property and removed an “Indian chief bust” from the lawn.
July 28
Oops – Warrant Arrest
200 block of Citrus Landing Dr
An officer made contact with a subject during a disturbance call and learned the subject had an active Hillsborough County Warrant for VOP DUI. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Enough Already – In Progress Vehicle Burglary
600 block of Tyner St
Officers responded to the above area in reference to a subject observed pulling on vehicle door handles and entering vehicles. The officers located the subject, who was arrested for vehicle burglary and transported to Orient Road Jail.
July 29
LawBreakers Breaking Law – Drug Violation
N. Franklin St/Valencia St
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no tag attached. The driver was taken into custody, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to Orient Road Jail.
You Can’t Be Here – Trespass After Warning
1500 block of E. Baker St
Officers responded to the above location in reference to a disturbance. The officers located the subject, and it was discovered that the subject has active trespass warnings from two businesses at the location. The subject was taken into custody, charged with trespass after warning, and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Refused to Comply – Warrant Arrest
Berryfest Pl/W. Risk St
Officers observed a known wanted subject and made contact. The subject was confirmed to have an active HCSO warrant for contempt of court and was taken into custody and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Squatting? – Residential Burglary
500 block of E. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd
An officer responded in reference to a possible residential burglary that occurred one hour earlier. Contact was made with the homeowner who advised he was contacted by a neighbor about two subjects being inside his residence that was under construction. Upon his arrival, the homeowner located two subjects. Neither denied being inside the residence and neither were APAD eligible. Both were transported to Orient Road Jail.
I See – Vehicle Burglary
4300 block of Sterling Commerce Dr
An officer responded to the business and met with the victim who advised he was staying overnight at the hotel and was utilizing a rental car. When he came outside, he noticed that the driver-side window of the vehicle was smashed and his prescription glasses valued at $350 were missing.

More Squatting – Fraud
800 block of W. Warren St
An officer met with the property manager for the new owner of this property who was to take possession on July 31. Three females were found to be inside one of the apartments and were hostile to the property manager. The occupants stated that the apartment had been listed on Facebook Marketplace and they had paid first and last month’s rent totaling $1800.
