Officers met with a complainant who stated a backpack containing $9,500 cash and $140 Dulce Gabbana cologne was inadvertently left at the restaurant.
Again? – DWLS
S. Collins St/W Prosser St
An officer arrested a subject for DWLS 3 or more convictions as a result of conducting traffic enforcement. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Calling all Bikes – Petit Theft
800 block of W Martin Luther King, Jr Blvd
An officer met with the complainant, who advised he parked his bicycle, valued at $90, in front of the above location while he played online slots. When he returned to it, he discovered it missing along with a cellphone valued at $59.

That Takes a Big Truck – Trailer Theft
500 block of S. Alexander St
Officers responded to the above location in reference to the theft of a semi-truck trailer.
Foiled – Criminal Mischief
200 block of N. Mobley St
Officers responded to the above location in reference to a report of criminal mischief. Officers met with the complainant who reported someone attempting to pry open the windows on rental property.

Not So Lucky – Aggravated Assault with a firearm
900 block of W. Renfro St
Officers responded to the residence in reference to a man threatening a neighbor with a pistol. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Orient Road Jail.
The Hand That Feeds You – Employee Theft
2400 block of James L Redman Pkwy
Officers responded to the above location in reference to a suspected theft by an employee. It was learned over the last six months loose cash along with scratch-off lottery tickets, had been stolen.
August 5
Another Squatter – Criminal Mischief
400 block of E. Gilchrist St
An officer responded to the above location in reference to a possible trespass into an empty home. Several doors were found to be open with one of the doors possibly being forced open. Contact was made with the property owner who responded and advised that no one should be inside of the residence and that the door should not have been broken.
Wanted No More – Warrant Arrest
400 block of W. Ball St
An officer met with a subject while patrolling the area. An FCIC/NCIC check was conducted which showed an active warrant for VOP aggravated battery w/deadly weapon out of Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant was confirmed by HCSO and the subject was positively identified verbally and by D.A.V.I.D. photograph. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.

You Are Coming With Us – Felony VOP Warrant Arrest
400 block of W. Renfro St
An officer responded to the above-listed residence to attempt to locate a subject who had an active warrant. Upon arrival, contact was made with a subject who was learned to have an active Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) warrant for violation of probation-grand theft (x3) with a bond of ROR. The warrant was confirmed by HCSO. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
U-Haul It Away – Stolen Vehicle
1200 block of S. Alexander St
Officers responded and met with the complainant who stated a 10ft rented U-Haul truck had not been returned. The vehicle was entered into NCIC/FCIC as stolen.
