3200 block of Magnolia Garden Drive. Burglary. The victim said someone broke into his house by breaking the back glass door. Suspect(s) stole a Wii gaming system, war games, Michael Jackson dance game and a fishing game, Oakley sunglasses, a black leather jacket, Canon camera, Toshiba laptop, six watches and bottles of liquor.
OOPS
West Alexander Street near Maki Road. DUI and Hit-and-Run Crash. The suspect was involved in minor traffic crash in front of the high school and left the scene. Officers located the vehicle on Alexander Street near Mud Lake Road, and the subject was arrested for DUI.

LIGHT’S OUT
900 block of North Park Road. Criminal Mischief. The victim stated an unknown person used a brick/cinder block to break out the taillight of her vehicle.
WEEMAN?!?
1100 block of North Collins Street. Criminal Mischief. The words “East Side” “E.S.” “X2” and “Weeman” were spray-painted on the south, north and east side of the business. A spider web also was spray-painted in a corner. All painting was in black paint.
YIKES
600 block of South Gordon Street. Criminal Mischief. The victim said her daughter was home alone last night, and at about 3 a.m., she heard someone at the window, possibly trying to get inside. The window, valued at $50, was broken.
JULY 29
SHOPLIFTING SPREE
610 block of North Maryland Avenue. Shoplifting. The suspect concealed $60 in Delmonico steaks then exited the business without rendering payment. The suspect then entered the Dollar General store, where he concealed an AM/FM MP3/iPod, transmitter and several art supplies.
NOT-SO SECRET STASH
1900 block of Airport Road. Vehicle Burglary. The victim stated he keeps his valuables in the trunk of a car in his barn. The victim said someone popped the trunk lock and stole a plastic container, in which he kept about $200 in coins and his voter registration card.

LOW BLOW
210 block of Park Springs Circle. Theft. The victim said a tricycle, designed for a special-needs child, was stolen. It is red with a black seat and back rest and has a basket on the back, with white lettering with the bike name along the frame. The bike is a Rifton and is valued at $1,400. She received the bike from the Shriners Hospital for her daughter.
LOVE HURTS
1400 block of Strawberry Place. Criminal Mischief. The victim said he and his girlfriend got into an argument and she went outside and keyed his car.
CLEANED OUT
1800 block of James L. Redman Parkway. Shoplifting. The suspect was arrested for felony petit theft after leaving the store without paying for six bottles of liquid bath soap.
PICNIC PROBLEM
900 block of South Waller Street. Criminal Mischief. Unknown person(s) damaged the cover of the picnic table by using a flame or building small fire on the table.
AUG. 1
CRIME OF OPPORTUNITY
1500 block of YMCA Place. Vehicle Burglary. The victim left her purse and cell phone inside the vehicle and went inside the business. When she returned, she found the passenger’s side window broken and her purse and cell phone stolen.
AUG. 2
SOMETHING’S FISHY
300 block of North Alexander Street. Stabbing. Officers responded to South Florida Baptist Hospital in reference to a stabbed person in emergency room. The victim had a laceration on his right forearm which required 10 stitches. The victim also had what appeared to be a puncture wound on his right triceps area. The victim stated he was walking west bound on West Reynolds Street, when three males jumped out of some bushes and said, “Give me your money.” The victim said he told the males he didn’t have any money. One of the suspects then stabbed him. The victim was uncooperative and refused law enforcement assistance.
CAUGHT RED-HANDED
2000 block of North Wheeler Street. Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia. The suspect arrested after a glass pipe and 1.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine were seized.
