September 6

Oops – Warrant Arrest

400 block of W. Renfro St

An officer responded to Probation and Parole and made contact with a subject who had an active Hillsborough County warrant for VOP Trafficking in Amphetamine 14-28 grams.  The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Tiny Steal – Warrant Arrest

700 block of W. Warren St

An officer made contact with a subject who had an active Hillsborough County warrant for VOP Petit Theft.  The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Poopy Pants – Petit Theft

2400 block of James L Redman Pkwy

An officer responded to the above location in reference to a theft of diapers.

Go Away – Trespass After Warning

2400 block of James L Redman Pkwy

An officer observed a subject on the property after being previously trespassed. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Bad Grades? – Warrant Arrest

1900 block of N. Temple St

Officers responded to the location and made contact with a subject who was the registered owner of a vehicle used in an aggravated assault against Florida Polytechnic University Officers. The subject was arrested on the Polk County Warrant for Aggravated Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer x2, Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer x2, Resist Officer with Violence x2, Flee to Elude, and DUI.  Gonzalez was transported to Orient Road Jail.

Tool Time – Vehicle Burglary 

400 block of S. Lake St

An officer responded to the above location and met with the complainant who reported sometime overnight, an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and removed three Rigid drill sets, two Milwaukee drill sets, and five unknown brand drill batteries.

September 9

What a Pane – Criminal Mischief 

2200 block of W. Milton St

Officers responded to the Strawberry Festival Grounds Milton E. Hull building and met with the complainant who stated two of the building’s windows had been broken between 9/6 at 3:30 p.m. and 9/9 at 1:30 p.m. 

I’ll Take That – Robbery By Sudden Snatching

3500 block of W. Baker St

An officer met with the complainant, who stated an unknown female subject, later identified, came up to him at the laundromat asking for money. He told her he did not have any to give her.  The subject then began to hit him several times around his facial area, stuck her hand into the pocket of a vest he was wearing and removed an item, then walked out of the business. The complainant stated as he was calling the police he checked his pocket to see what she took (thinking it was his car keys) and realized his money was gone. The subject was arrested for Robbery by Sudden Snatching, Battery, and Trespass After Warning and transported to Orient Road Jail. 

September 10

Biking Under the Influence – Drug Arrest

N Frontage Rd/N Maryland Ave

An officer working an FDOT detail, conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist. The bicyclist was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was transported to Orient Road Jail.

September 11

Shattered – Criminal Mischief 

3200 block of N Park Rd

An officer responded to South Florida Baptist Hospital in reference to a criminal mischief in progress. An officer working a special detail at the hospital observed a subject waiting in the lobby. The subject became irate and removed a metal pedal of a wheelchair and maliciously struck and damaged two glass window panels valued at $100,000 each. The subject exited the building near the emergency room entrance and threw the metal pedal at the officer’s marked PCPD patrol vehicle damaging the hood and front windshield. The damage was valued at approximately $1,500. The subject was arrested for criminal mischief and transported to Orient Road Jail. 

No Driving For You – DWLSR Arrest

2000 block of James L Redman Pkwy

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to the attached tag not being assigned to the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver who was learned to have an indefinite suspended license. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving without a license and transported to Orient Road Jail.
