UNLOCKED AND UNLOADED

500 block of N. Walker St.

Vehicle burglary: Officers met with the victim who reported that sometime during the night an unknown individual entered their vehicle and multiple items were stolen.

DOUBLE TROUBLE

S. Maryland Ave. / E. Alsobrook St.

Felon in possession of firearm: Officers conducted a traffic stop for failing to signal while changing lanes. The individual was subsequently arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and transported to Orient Road Jail.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN

2600 block of James L. Redman Pkwy.

Fleeing to elude: Officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle that fails to dim its high beams to oncoming traffic. The vehicle then fled from the stop.

APRIL 10

ROAD WORK

Water St. / E. Alabama St.

Criminal mischief: Officers responded to the listed location in reference to subjects arguing in the roadway. The interaction resulted in one individual arrested for throwing a deadly missile into a vehicle and criminal mischief under $1,000. The individual was transported to Orient Road Jail without incident.

WINDOW PAINS

1500 block of S. Park Rd.

Criminal mischief: Officers responded to the listed location and made contact with the victim who advised them that he came home and noticed that the window on his trailer was damaged.

APRIL 13

Card shark

2700 block of Turkey Creed Rd.

Fraudulent use of credit card: Officers met with the victim in the lobby at the listed location. The victim then reported that a company credit card was previously used fraudulently.

QUIET NIGHT

1800 block of Bethune Dr.

Warrant arrest: Officers were patrolling the listed location when they observed an individual sitting on the curb who waved to them after noticing the patrol vehicle. Officers made contact with the individual who advised that he was in a verbal altercation with the other individual on the scene. Officers determined that the altercation was not physical and that no criminal act had occurred. After the second individual identified himself, however, it was discovered that they had two active warrants out of Hillsborough County and one active warrant out of Polk County. All warrants were confirmed that the individual was subsequently transported to Orient Road Jail without incident.
