HERE’S A TIP: STOP STEALING
1700 block of James L. Redman Parkway.
Petit theft: Complainant stated a suspect had stolen a tip jar containing $100 from a restaurant. The suspect was identified, located, arrested and taken to jail without incident.
AIRING IT OUT
310 block of Park Springs Circle.
Criminal mischief: Complainant stated suspect(s) broke five of her car’s windows, totaling $1,400 in damage.
March 24
LOTTERY LOSER
2910 block of James L. Redman Parkway.
Grand theft: Complainant stated an unknown male subject entered a gas station and stole a roll of “Florida 100x Cash” scratch-off tickets from an unguarded case.
March 26
DIRTY LAUNDRY
700 block of East Gilchrist Street.
Petit theft: Complainant stated an unknown suspect stole a Maytag washer from her porch between 10 a.m. March 23 and 7 a.m. March 25. The washer was valued at $160. Complainant signed a waiver of prosecution.
CHARGED WITH THEFT
300 block of North Alexander Street.
Theft: Complainant stated an unknown suspect stole her cell phone from a courtesy charging station, where she had left it unattended.
March 28
FREE RIDES
1000 block of South Gibbs Street.
Stolen tag: Complainant stated unknown suspect(s) stole her vehicle’s license plate. When she went to the tag office, she learned of more than $50 in all violations had been associated with the tag.
THIRSTY THIEVES
1500 block of Sydney Road.
Theft: Complainant stated unknown suspect(s) stole two vending machines from a business. The machines were valued together at $9,000.
