600 block of E. Alexander St
Officers responded to the above location and met with the complainant who reported an unidentified suspect entered the location through an unlocked back door the previous night and stole a computer, scanner, and iPad.
Lights On – DUI
James L Redman Pkwy/Langford Dr
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for operating without headlights. Upon making contact with the driver, indicators of impairment were evident. An officer responded and conducted a DUI investigation which resulted in arrest. The driver was booked into Orient Road Jail.
June 15
Just Ridin’ Through – Retail Theft after Warning
2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer responded to the above location and met with the complainant who reported a subject was riding a bicycle in the sporting goods section and selected merchandise valued at $435.80. The subject passed all points of sale without paying and was intercepted by officers at the front entrance. The subject previously was trespassed from the property and had more than two previous theft convictions. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
It’s Getting Hot in Here – Grand Theft
1000 block of W Madison St
Officers met with the complainant who reported sometime between June 1 and June 15, an unknown subject stole the outside 3-ton AC unit and key from the lockbox.
June 16
Really? – Trespass After Warning Arrest
2200 block of N. Park Rd
An officer met with the subject who was standing just outside the front doors of a business less than two hours after he was issued a trespass warning by the store manager. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.

That’s Hot! – Petit theft
2100 block of W. Baker St
Officers responded to the above location regarding the theft of a bag of flaming hot Cheetos valued at $2.69. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Eagle Has Landed – Robbery/Aggravated Battery
2800 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer responded to the location in reference to a delayed reporting of a robbery/aggravated battery. Contact was made with the victim, who advised approximately 45 minutes to an hour prior they went to meet some friends. While there, they reported being struck with a metal object and having a silver chain and eagle pendant stolen. Additionally, $800 in cash, a cell phone, and wallet were stolen.

An officer responded to the above location in reference to a subject actively attempting to cash a fraudulent check. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
That Doesn’t Match – DWLSR
S Alexander St/Bowman Ave
An officer conducted a traffic stop with a tag that didn’t return to that vehicle. Contact was made with the driver who was taken into custody for DWLSR and transported to Orient Road Jail and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
Fast, Fast, Fast – CCI
E. Baker St/N. Palmer St
An officer was conducting stationary traffic enforcement when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed which was confirmed to be 80 mph in a posted 35 mph zone. The driver was issued a UTC for speeding.

Smoke em if you got em – Vehicle Burglary
2900 block of Wilder Bend Place
An officer met with the complainant who stated that a vehicle was broken into overnight and a pack of 305 Blue 100’s cigarettes was stolen from the vehicle.
