600 block of Hitchcock St.
Vehicle Burglary: An air conditioning business was struck by burglars during the night of Aug. 2. The suspects took numerous tools and AC equipment.
Say hello to my little friend
2200 block of Samonds Rd.
Aggravated Assault: Two males had a verbal argument when one of them threatened the other with his machete. He was arrested and taken to Orient Road Jail.

Missing Springfield
4300 block of Kipling Ave.
Vehicle Burglary: The complainant told officers his black Springfield XD 9mm was stolen at the beginning of July. He didn’t know if it was taken while his vehicle was at his house or when he was at work. The gun was entered into the FCIC/NCIC.
Burn baby burn
1700 block of Thonotosassa Rd.
Arson: Officers joined Plant City Fire Rescue at the scene where a vehicle was on fire. After putting it out they attempted to contact the registered owners of the vehicle but had negative results. The Fire Marshall deemed the fire was a result of arson.

Joy ride
E. Alabama St./Spruce St.
DWLSR: PCPD officers saw a vehicle being driven recklessly on S. Collins St. They went after it and realized it had crashed into another vehicle. The driver was arrested for resisting arrest with violence, drug possession and fleeing to elude. The passenger was in possession of cocaine and was arrested. Both were transported to Orient Road Jail.

Floor heist
600 block of N.W. Drane St.
Residential Burglary: The victim told officers that multiple boxes of wood flooring had been stolen from within his house. The value of the flooring was $1,200.
Aug. 7
Fraudulent chicken
700 S Collins St.
Uttering: A counterfeit $10 bill was used to buy some grub at Church’s Chicken. The bill was seized and placed into evidence.
