Joy riders

400 block of S. Collins St.

Vehicle theft: Officers came out to an automotive store after receiving a call that a vehicle had been stolen. The suspect was located and arrested and took a trip to Orient Road Jail without incident.

 

Sept. 1 

A grave incident

2400 block of Paul Buchman Hwy

Theft: Officers came out to Memorial Park Cemetery where a complainant told them an unknown suspect took a copper vase and a plaque at a grave sight. They were taken between Aug. 28 and Sept. 1. 

 

State swap

1600 block of N. Gordon St.

Burglary: Officers met with the complainant who said his 2004 Ford Explore Sports Trax was broken into and his Florida X28 bearing 0833 US and registration had been stolen. The culprit replaced it with a Tennessee tag. 

Sept. 4

Bose bait

200 block of Park Springs Cr.

Vehicle burglary: Under the cover of darkness an unknown suspect entered the complainants vehicle and stole a small black Bose speaker. 

 

Sept. 5

Package pirates

2005 Country Club Ct.

Theft: When this complainant came home she realized someone had removed a package from her mailbox and called the police. 

 

Gunning for a bike

1400 block of W. Risk St.

Aggravated assault: Officers met with the complainant who said that someone came up and stole her bicycle from her at gunpoint.
