WINDOW PAINS

1900 block of E. Alabama St.

Shooting into unoccupied dwelling: Officers responded to the listed location in reference to bullet holes in the bedroom windows that had been discovered by the residents.

AUG. 28

IT’S NOT DELIVERY, IT’S FRAUD

300 block of S. Frontage Rd.

Fraud: Offices responded to the location in reference to a local pizza store employee who had received a counterfeit $100 bill for payment.

OPEN DOOR POLICY

600 block of E. Alexander St.

Vehicle burglary: Officers made contact with a victim who alerted them that an unknown suspect entered his vehicle, stealing his wallet which included his driver’s license and other personal items.

AUG. 29

HOUSE CALL

2800 block of Blain Acres Rd.

Warrant arrest: Officers responded to the resident in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the suspect who had an active Hillsborough County warrant for contempt of court. The suspect was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

CAUGHT STEALING

2600 block of James L. Redman Pkwy.

Felony petit theft: Officers responded to the business at the location in reference to a theft. The suspect was placed under arrest for petit theft and was transported to Orient Road Jail without incident.

AUG. 31

TIRE FIRE

1800 block of Camp Court

Criminal mischief: Officers met with the victim who advised officers that he witnessed his ex-girlfriend puncture his vehicle tire with an unknown object, causing the vehicle’s tire to lose air. It was unknown whether the puncture was repairable and the value of the tire was $500. The victim wanted the incident documented but signed a waiver of prosecution.

TOOL TIME

600 block of Charlie Taylor Rd.

Grand theft: Officers responded to a construction site at the listed location where they were alerted that an unknown suspect had removed several pieces of unsecured equipment.
