The annual Dean’s Ride fundraiser is back for the fifth consecutive year.
Starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 1, the bike ride will cover 16, 38 and 62-mile road courses, plus a 10-mile spin ride at the Plant City Family YMCA. Riders must be age 14 or older to participate, and helmets are required.
Registration costs $40 in advance, and may be done online at ow.ly/9DnE30akRam. Riders can also register for $45 in person on the day of the event. Proceeds will go to the Plant City Family YMCA’s wellness programs, including its free LiveStrong program for cancer survivors. The fee will also cover the cost of a light breakfast and lunch, as well as a jersey.
