Starting at 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 6, the eastbound I-4 ramps (entrance and exit) at Park Road will close until 5:00 a.m., Monday, September 9, weather permitting.
Eastbound I-4 motorists needing to access Park Road will have to exit the interstate using Exit 21, cross Wheeler Street (SR 39A), proceed onto South Frontage Road, and continue east toward Park Road.
Motorists needing to access eastbound I-4 will turn east onto South Frontage Road, cross Charlie Taylor Road, and continue east toward Park Road.
Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Drivers should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
These temporary ramp closures are part of the I-4 repaving project from east of McIntosh Road to County Line Road in Hillsborough County.
