Plant City Fire Rescue responded to a house fire at about 1 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at 1401 Larrick Lane in Plant City.
Upon arrival, responders found that the dwelling’s rear bedroom was engulfed in flames. They did an aggressive interior attack. Within 20 minutes, the fire was under control, and by about 2 p.m., it was fully extinguished.
No one was injured in the fire. The house has extensive damage, and the adjoined unit has some smoke damage.
The origin of the fire is uncertain at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
