On Saturday night, an unmarked Plant City police vehicle collided with another vehicle while responding to an in-progress call, police said.
The police vehicle was traveling southbound on N. Park Road and, while driving through the intersection of N. Park Road and E. Cherry Street, struck a four-door sedan containing five passengers. The occupants of the sedan were transported to Lakeland Regional Health with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The officer involved in the crash was not injured.
