The fourth annual Fox Squirrel Corn Maze will be opening Saturday, Oct. 3 and continue until Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Futch family farm, 3002 Charlie Taylor Road.
Wayne Futch has designed this year’s corn maze with a labyrinth of twisted pathways. There is approximately 1.5 miles of paths that cut through 5 acres of corn stalks.
There is more old-fashion fun besides the corn maze, including a tractor-pulled hayride, pumpkin patch, games, arts and crafts, and food. There is also Squirrely’s General Store, where there is homemade goods, antiques and other unique gift items.
And there is always a chance to spot Sherman, one of the notorious fox squirrels who inhabits the ranch.
