Plant City Garden Club installed new officers at a pot luck dinner and revealed the winner of the annual Garden Clubber of the Year Award.
President Jan Griffin presented the award to Cindy Card. The award is presented to the club member who has done the most in helping the club achieve its goals. Card was presented the award based on a vote by the membership. Also presented was the People’s Choice award which went to Joanne Mason. This is presented to the person who received the most tokens at the flower show by public vote.
New officers are: President Jan Griffin, First Vice President Anita Weaver, Second Vice President Mikie Snyder, Treasurer Cassandra Banning, Recording Secretary Christy Linke, and Corresponding Secretary Sally Murphy.
