The Plant City Garden Club will host a fall garden tour of five beautiful private gardens from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10.
The gardens range from suburban settings in Walden Lake to country settings off Wilder Road.
“Not only do we want to showcase the efforts of the homeowners who have created exciting and unique gardens, but it also gives those who participate an opportunity to take home new ideas on what they can do,” said tour chairwoman Jan Griffin.
Cost for the tour is $10 and can be purchased in advance or the day of the tour. Tickets are available at All A Bloom Florist, 116 N. Collins St., or by sending a check and self-addressed stamped envelope to Plant City Garden Club, P.O. Box 3471, Plant City, FL 33566.
Monies raised from the tour will go to support the club’s projects, such as scholarships to Plant City-area high school students; Camp Wekiva and the Veteran’s Memorial Park at Courier Field.
