The Plant City Garden Club and Plant City Downtown Merchants and Business Association are hosting the 7th Annual Garden Fest & More Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Train Depot and McCall Park, 102 N. Palmer St.
Last year, more than 40 vendors participated in the event. This year many of the vendors are returning, as well as new ones. Bromeliads, African violets, butterfly plants, native plants, herbs and garden art are just a few of the items available. Antiques, crafts, garden tools and honey will also be sold. The Plant City Daybreak Rotary Club will once again be selling hamburgers and hot dogs.
Vendors are always eager to answer questions about growing certain plants. The Plant City Garden Club will have members available at its booth to answer any questions about the garden club and the projects for the upcoming year.
