Garden to host first planting day

Organizers for the Plant City Commons Community Garden will host a Planning and Planting Day at 9 a.m. Sept. 15, at the garden, located at the corner of Baker and Carey streets.

If you need organic seeds and/or organically grown seedlings, they will be available at the event. Seeds and seedlings range in price from $1 to $4.

All garden members, volunteers and Plant City residents are invited to participate.
