Temporary offices are set up at the Strawberry Festival grounds.
U.S. Representative for the 15th District, Laurel Lee, has set up a mobile office to help Plant City residents navigate Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) paperwork for disaster assistance. The office is open October 21 to October 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 303 Berryfest Place. The congresswoman’s staff is also available to help with general casework. Also located on the Strawberry Festival Grounds is a State of Florida Multi-Agency Resource Center, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week until further notice. This one-stop shop in the TECO Expo Hall at 2301 W. Oak Avenue, helps with information on available resources, referrals to aid organizations, and direct services for departments like Elder Affairs, Children & Families, and Motor Vehicles.
