Two victims were transported to the hospital.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue fought a structure fire at a house in Dover on Wednesday afternoon after its Emergency Dispatch Center (EDC) received multiple calls at 4:40 p.m. from individuals reporting fire and explosions coming from a single-wide manufactured home on Sydney Dover Road, officials said.
Its first arriving unit confirmed the residence was fifty percent consumed, and a nearby shed was engulfed in flames. Crews deployed hose lines to battle the blaze inside the structure, controlling it within 15 minutes of arrival. Two adults were transported to a local trauma center, both in stable condition. Two dogs were rescued but two other dogs succumbed to the conditions. There were no injuries to firefighters, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
