Hillsborough County Public Schools will sponsor the annual Summer Food Service Program for Children Mondays through Thursdays, June 9 through Aug. 7, at schools with extended school-year programs.
The program is similar to the National School Lunch Program. It provides nutritionally balanced meals to children, regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age or national origin, during the summer vacation, when school breakfast and lunch are not available.
Schools with a summer school program will provide all children 18 years old and younger a breakfast and lunch at no charge, regardless of whether the child is enrolled in summer school.
Parents and guardians can find a location by visiting summerfoodflorida.org or texting FOODFL to 877877.
