The Mid-Florida Summer Home Show will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 11, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at the Florida Strawberry Festival Expo Hall, 2301 W. Oak Ave. The free event will feature demonstrations and tips from the area’s top home improvement vendors and local artists. The Boys & Girls Club will be collecting back to school supplies for kids so make sure to bring some school goodies to help out.
On Saturday, enjoy a special Taste of Plant City event featuring food and fun from noon to 5 p.m. Restaurants will have food samples and guests will be able to vote on their favorites to culminate in an awards ceremony.
