A roundtable meeting hosted by Congressman Dennis Ross, County Commissioner Al Higginbotham and Plant City Mayor Mary Mathis brought in international dignitaries to Plant City for the Florida Strawberry Festival’s parade day.
Dignitaries from Estonia, Germany, Peru, India and Barbados enjoyed a meet and great and luncheon before viewing the Grand Parade in the afternoon. Those who attended include Juan Carlos Schambaher Ibarra, Honorary Consul of Peru, Norma Brenne Henning, Honorary Consul of Germany, Lisa Mets, Ph. D., Honorary Consul of Estonia, Henderson Griffith, President, Barbados Association of Tampa Bay, Tyrone Small, Second Vice President, Barbados Association of Tampa Bay, and Jürgen Borsch, Consul General of Germany.
Deborah Wilkinson, Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Protocol & Trade Council, and Max Stewart, Regional Director for Internationl Trade Development for Enterprise Florida also attended the roundtable.
