The kitchen at Plant City High School has been shut down due to a pest control issue.
Hillsborough County Public Schools have said that the kitchen was shut down this week so a pest control company can deal with a rat problem. Details on the extent of the problem have not been released by the district. The pest removal this week was planned around the shortened week due to Easter.
Until the problem is resolved, students will receive box lunches.
