Letter: On our decision

Dear Editor:

The Walden Lake Community Association Board of Directors has the responsibility to preserve the values and amenities of all residents of Walden Lake, along with maintaining the common property and enhancing the opportunity for an improved quality of life. As such, the board acted to join the lawsuit and oppose aggressively the rezoning effort to build over 300, give or take, single family, possibly two-story, units, and 100, give or take, assisted care living facility units, possibly three- story apartments, etc. on the closed golf course and clubhouse in the middle of our already developed pristine community of homes, lakes, scenic vistas, wetlands, parks and open space.
