Little Miss Plant City set for end of April

Thirty little ladies will compete Saturday, April 30, to be the new Little Miss Plant City. 

The annual contest, put on by the GFWC Plant City Junior Woman's Club, will kick off at 6 p.m. at the Plant City High School auditorium. 2015 Little Miss Plant City Queen Raylynn Thompson will pass on her crown, and a new court will be named. 

Throughout the year, the Little Miss Plant City Queen and Court appear at numerous events in Plant City, including the Florida Strawberry Festival Grand Parade, Lights of Love and various fundraisers. 

Previous winners of the Little Miss Plant City contest are encouraged to attend the event. Previous winners will be recognized during the pageant's intermission. Former queens are encouraged to call Racquel Sturgis at (813) 928-0211 to be added to the special guest list.
