Undercover Hillsborough County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a Lakeland man on County Line Road in Plant City during a buy/bust investigation Thursday, July 16.
At 8:30 p.m. detectives met with Timothy Wiker, 20, to buy a .22 caliber revolver. Wiker agreed to sell it for $200. Wiker is on felony probation and had an outstanding warrant for violation of probation.
After the transaction was complete, Wiker was arrested without incident. Upon his arrest, a .40 caliber Glock model 22
semi-automatic pistol was located in his waistband. Possessing a firearm is a violation of a condition of his probation. He was charged with two counts of violation of probation and carrying a concealed firearm.
