SCHMOOZAPALOOZA 2024

Schmoozapalooza is a high-energy networking event hosted by the Plant City Chamber for the entire community. The best way to describe this exciting event is to think football tailgate party meets business expo. Located at HCC Trinkle Center, 1204 N. Park Rd, on September 5, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Schmoozapalooza will feature exhibitor booths, complimentary food and beer samples from Plant City’s favorite restaurants, swag bags for all attendees, a live DJ, giveaways, interactive games, and more. Schmoozapalooza is FREE to all PCCOC members. Non-members can attend for $10 per person. Tickets will be on sale at the door on the day of Schmoozapalooza while supplies last for $10. Located on 106 South Evers St, Artist Night on Evers, a spoken word and vendor market experience, is the perfect adventure for local makers, artists or more! Cinema to host “An Evening To Believe

Premiere lux Cinemas Inaugural “An Evening To Believe” is coming exclusively to Plant City. Premiere Lux Cinemas 8 & Pizza Pub Walden Lake, 220 West Alexander Street, is honored to welcome an inaugural cinema event “An Evening To Believe.” Mark your calendars for this inspiring and unforgettable event, taking place on September 18, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Plant City’s Premiere Lux Cinema 8 & Pizza Pub. This special evening brings together The Hollywood Prayer Network and The Christian Youth Film Festival for a night of faith, film, and fellowship. This state-of-the-art movie theater in Plant City, with Hollywood studio quality presentations and world class guest service, is welcoming direct from Southern California, founder of The Christian Youth Film Festival (CYFF) (https://www.christianyouthfilmfestival.org/) Mr. Joe Brown and Hollywood Prayer Network (HPN) founder Karen Covell (www.hollywoodprayernetwork.org). The evening’s program will also present the Plant City Local Chapter launch for HPN.

SUNSETS AND CITY YOGA

BRATWURST COMPETITION
AT OKTOBERFEST

The bratwurst cooking competition will happen during the 3rd annual Oktoberfest on September 28, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is a people’s choice competition. The public will enter the competition area and try a sample from each of the competitors. The public will score each competitor, and ballots will be counted with the winner being announced at 9:30 p.m. the day of the event. The first-place winner will receive $750, second will get $500 and third will get $250. This is free to register, but all competitors must provide a 10×10 for their location, as well as table and chairs. No onsite materials for cooking or electricity will be provided and battery powered lights for your area are encouraged. You may choose to grill onsite. Competitors must supply a minimum of 1,000 samples to the public to be judged. Sample cups and toothpicks will be provided. There must have a minimum of 12 competitors, so register today!
