SIGN GRANT AWARDED TO POSH PETALS
Historic Plant City Main Street has awarded it first sign grant to Posh Petals. This is a new program for downtown businesses to support them in their purchase of a new sign. “This is a big deal!” said Dawn Hyatt, Historic Plant City Main Street Executive Director.
“To be a success in Plant City, you have to give back,” said Devony Wyatt, owner of Posh Petals. “Put the seeds back into the community.” Posh Petals did just that by paying the $734.19 grant forward. Wyatt redirected other funds to sponsor a Plant City youth softball team.
A sign grant award can be between $100 and $1000. The criteria to win the award are: 1. be a Plant City Main Street Partner; 2. have an approved city permit for signage; 3. have a receipt; 4. have a rendering or a picture of the sign.
For more information about how to apply, go to the Historic Plant City Main Street web site at https://www.plantcitymainstreet.org/
