POTBELLY OPENS
The name “Potbelly” is about its signature stove, not the effect of the food on you. The restaurant has 425 locations nationwide, and its newest store opened Tuesday in Plant City at 234 W. Alexander Street—at James L. Redman and Alexander. “What is great about Potbelly is we are all hot and toasted sandwiches,” Courtney Gillispie, manager of the store, said. “It makes us different from other sandwich shops because we bring bold flavors out to everyone. We slice our meat daily and our vegetables are sliced fresh, and we fresh bake our own cookies every morning.” Store hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
